Secondary processes: for assembly-ready components
STÜKEN manufactures assembly capable components that can be processed directly into your production line. For this the deep-drawn parts as well as the stamped and bent metal parts are being cleaned, processed and refined accordingly.
Cleaning and degreasing
Using different methods - by solvent or aqueous solutions - the surfaces of the parts are cleaned,
free of oils and solid soil particles.
Applying mechanical and chemical processes, the contours are smoothed at the edges - even in hard to reach places.
This mechanical process smoothes the surfaces. The abrasive bodies are mixed together with the work pieces and an aqueous solution and then are set into vibration in a single container.
During electropolishing metal is being anodically removed using a special, to the material adapted, electrolyte bath while applying electricity. The procedure causes micro deburring and reduces surface roughness. At the so-smoothed surfaces less germs adhere, they are more resistant to corrosion and the optic is of higher quality.
With coatings of zinc, nickel or electroless nickel, the surface protection and the electrical conductivity can be improved.
Certain applications require more transformations at the customer location, others require special magnetic properties. For this we offer our internal heat treatment - under protective gas and up to 1,000 °
In addition to the heat treatment, a cooling treatment of metal parts is possible. Here, the strength
of components from certain special alloys is being increased.
Plastic injection molding
Metal parts are inserted into the tool and injection molded with plastic. The end products are called hybrid parts.
Turning, milling, tapping or cutting are used at STÜKEN as complementary techniques to drawing, stamping and bending.
